RAWALPINDI: Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa reiterated on Monday that Pakistan seeks to maintain traditional “bilateral engagements” with Washington and hopes for an “enduring relationship with the United States”.

The COAS made the assurance when the US diplomat called on General Bajwa at the GHQ, said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

During the meeting, the ISPR added, matters of mutual interest, the current security situation in Afghanistan, and bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed.
