LAHORE: The Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved three development schemes of urban development and agriculture sectors with an estimated cost of Rs25.854 billion.
Planning and Development Board chairman Abdullah Khan Sumbal presided over the meeting that approved the construction of Rawalpindi Ring Road-R3 (38.3km) main carriageway (MCW) from Baanth (N-5) to Thalian (M-2) at the cost of Rs23.606 billion, dual carriageway from Eidgah Chowk to Rasheed Abad Chowk, Multan at the cost of Rs999.947 million and transforming the Indus Basin with Climate Resilient Agriculture and Climate-Smart Water Management (FAO-assisted) at the cost of Rs1.248 billion.
The members of the P&D Board and secretaries of relevant departments attended the meeting.
