Instagram to launch new tools for live creators

The photo and video sharing application recently announced that it is soon rolling out an option for its creators to earn through their creators’ subscriptions. The company is developing the feature currently and is about to test it broadly once the final changes are made.
Instagram, followed the suit after Twitter launched its premium subscription platform, Twitter Blue. Similarly, Instagram has added in-app purchase options to its US app according to the reports.
Instagram has always been open with its plans regarding expansion for instance, adding NFTs and subscriptions so as to make its platform more creator-friendly.
‘Instagram Subscriptions’ will give its users to subscribe to accounts of their favorite content creators by paying a subscription fee every month.
Even though the company hasn’t made any official announcement regarding ‘Instagram Subscriptions’ as of yet, but the Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri generally spoke about company’s monetization strategy during the Creator Week a few months ago.
“I love those because those give creators a direct relationship with their fans — which I think is probably more sustainable and more predictable over the long run,” said Mosseri, while discussing Instagram’s plans on payment products.
