Answering a question, Ismail said that the new directive for big pharma companies not to give benefits to the doctors, is welcoming.

Inflation is a global issue, the present government slashed many taxes imposed by the previous government and it cannot afford to give more subsidies to the people, he added.

Event organiser Kamran Abbasi said that the exhibition with the support of PPMA is being held at two exhibition halls. More than 70 local and foreign companies are participating in it.

The pharma manufacturing industry, service delivery, machinery and equipment used in laboratories will be exhibited at the expo.
