Watch: British mother sets a new 10k record while pushing a stroller

When a British mother completed a 10k race in 40 minutes and 4 seconds while carrying her 1-year-old kid in a stroller, she set a Guinness World Record.

Heather Hann, 36, of St. Albans, England, completed the Herts Fast 10K race in Hemel Hempstead while pushing her one-year-old kid in a stroller and set a new course record of 40 minutes and four seconds.

Hann, a mother of two, said she began running with her stroller after her first kid was born.

Hann tells the media, “I’m over the moon that my world record was approved by Guinness. It’s an amazing feeling to be able to break a world record with my son and hopefully, it’ll encourage other parents/carers with young children to get out there. I’d love to inspire others to go on and break my world record.”

Earlier: In Idaho, a frequent Guinness World Record breaker teamed up with his brother and a friend to set a new record for the most huge beach ball passes made in three minutes.

David Rush, who has set more than 200 Guinness World Records for the sake of STEM education, joined up with his brother, Jonathan Rush, and a friend, Jon Morse, to pass the enormous beach ball 673 times in the allotted three minutes.
