Anthropologist and a Pakistani documentary filmmaker, Samar Minallah Khan won Best Short Film Award for her film Out Swing at the 7th Sport Film Festival Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

The news of the win was announced by the film creator on her Twitter handle and wrote, “My film Out Swing wins the best short film award at Sport Film Festival Rotterdam.”

The filmmaker received many congratulations and best wishes for her victory.

The documentary revolved around a devoted coach who teaches cricket to young girls, belongs to traditional families who find comfort and strength in learning the sport.
