Putin to meet with UN chief Guterres in Russia next week: Kremlin

Russian President Vladimir Putin will next week maintain talks with United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in Russia, the Kremlin said on Friday.

Putin has not taken Guterres’s cellphone calls, or had any touch with him because the UN chief said that Russia’s army marketing campaign violated the UN charter.

United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights, Michelle Bachelet, said on Friday that Russian actions in Ukraine, that have covered summary executions of civilians and leveling of civilian infrastructure, may amount to battle crimes.
