Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has said that he had informed every quarter concerned about the foreign conspiracy and its dire consequences but all his efforts were proved in vain.

Imran lamented that he could not have foiled this foreign plot as it had the support of local corrupt and looter people.

He maintained that Pakistan under his rule was making progress in every economical and social field, adding that but now rupee, stock exchange and economy were going down with every passing day and making the people’s life more and more miserable.

He expressed these views while addressing a huge public rally on Thursday in Attock.

He observed that a foreign policy of any country is always in favour of its interest but no rulers except the Quaid-e-Azam and Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto had ever followed an independent policy.

Imran recalled that the USA had telephoned General Musharraf to support the war against Afghanistan Taliban otherwise they would bomb Pakistan to the stone age.

He further said that the USA undersecretary had threatened Pakistan with dire consequences if the no-confidence motion would not succeed against prime minister Imran.

Imran urged the people to join hands with the PTI in an independent march for an independent Pakistan.

He said that the PTI’s movement will continue till the announcement of the general elections in the country and stressed the people to participate the Azadi March.

The former prime minister said that his campaign is not about politics anymore but has turned into a Jihad (holy war), adding that he will never accept “thieves and slaves” ruling the country.

He said that he was ready to face any consequence whether he was killed or arrested.

He further said that this mafia, which is ruling the county right now, has always been killing every honest officer and people as they were stopping their corruption and thefts.

PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that the MQM local leadership used to visit London and now PML-N leaders are in London to take advice from an absconder leader.

He added that there is a constitutional crisis in Punjab, adding that when the PTI dissident MPAs were disqualified, the Hamza’s government could not be sustained.

He lambasted the bad performance of PML-N central and Punjab governments as they had completely failed to control the inflation.

He said that the PML-N government was starting trade with India, hurting the Kashmiri people’s sentiments.

PTI Attock chapter leader Major ® Tahir Sadiq also addressed the meeting and said that Imran Khan was absolutely right when he said that armed forces of Pakistan were indispensable for Pakistan and the guarantor of the country’s defence.

He maintained that the PTI would sweep the next election and give humiliating defeat to the opponents.

He further said that the people of Attock would stand by Imran Khan through thick and thin.

Speaking on the occasion, PTI leader Zulfi Bukhari said a big number of women’s participation in the public meeting was a real revolution in Attock history.

He criticised the PML-N leadership for attending a meeting called by a convict and absconder in London, adding that Pakistan’s issues would be discussed in Pakistan, not in London.

He further said that Imran Khan was respected across the world not as a prime minister but as an honest person and leader.
