This song by Priyanka Chopra and Akshay Kumar is revealed by Abbas-Mustan

• Notably, Abbas Alibhai Burmawalla and Mustan Alibhai Burmawalla, a well-known filmmaking team and sibling combo, both helmed these two successful movies.

The well-known couple spoke exclusively with Pinkvilla on Thursday about their experience working in the film industry. They both come from a time when making movies was more laborious than it is today.

Speaking of one such incident, Abbas Mustan mentioned a song with Akshay Kumar and Priyanka Chopra in the key roles that was shot in a single take.

When asked if they had ever recorded a song in a single take, Mustan responded, “I want to make love to you from the Aitraaz movie with Akshay and Priyanka Chopra. Akshay and Priyanka had to perform a crazy romance in that song. We had to capture this intense scene on camera. We were aware that many takes could not be used to film this song.

“Whenever someone performs, you can see that faces change when we cut a scene,” continued Abbas. Expression drop ho jaate hai cut karke. (Expressions change as a scene is cut.)

Then Mustan continued, “We reasoned why not film this song in a single take. We had a great deal of faith in the actors. We frequently have faith in performers. So, we prepared for the shot by practising from 9 AM to 3:00 PM. The actress was prepared as well. The first take was alright when we started.
