LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has suspended the party membership of former Chief Minister and former Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Sardar Mehtab Abbasi.
According to the statement issued by the Muslim League-N, action has been taken against Mehtab Abbasi for continuous violation of party discipline.
PML-N General Secretary Ahsan Iqbal has issued a notification.
It should be noted that Mehtab Abbasi, who was angry with the leadership, had announced his support for Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf’s candidate, Mehtab Abbasi had also praised the founder of PTI in an interview.
Mehtab Abbasi was upset with the leadership of PML-N for a long time and he also resigned from the post of central vice-president of PML-N in February this year.
