Russia captures another Ukrainian city

Russia captures another important Ukrainian city, Avdiyka, Bol News reported on Sunday.

According to media reports, 1,500 Ukrainian soldiers have killed in the battle against the Russian Army, the capture of the northern city of Donetsk was led by Colonel General Mordvichev Andrey Nikolaevich.

The Russian Ministry of Defense says that liberating the city of Avdiivka will help to advance further and prevent a pro-Ukrainian attack on the capital of Donetsk.

The media reports further added that fighting has been going on in this Russian-occupied Ukrainian city since the beginning of the war, the city of Avdiivka in the Donetsk region covers an area of about 32 square kilometers.

Citing the lack of military equipment, the commander in chief of the Ukrainian Army had announced a withdrawal from Avdiivka a day before.

Moreover, Russian President Vladimir Putin has congratulated the army for capturing the city of Avdiivka in Donestsk, calling it an important step forward.
