PESHAWAR: The Appellate Tribunal declared Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former federal minister Murad Saeed eligible for the Senate elections.
Appellate Tribunal judge Justice Shakeel Ahmed heard Murad Saeed’s appeal. The tribunal accepted Murad Saeed’s appeal.
Apart from this, the Appellate Tribunal approved the nomination papers of PTI leader Azam Swati to contest the general seat of the Senate.
The tribunal dismissed appeals against the acceptance of the nomination papers of Dilawar Khan, Rubina Khalid, Fida Mohammad, and Azhar Mashwani.
Earlier, Appellate Tribunal allowed Pakistan Tehreek Insaf(PTI) leader Azam Swati to contest the Senate elections.
PTI leader Azam Swati filed an appeal against the rejection of nomination papers for the general seat of the Senate, on which the judge of the Appellate Tribunal, Justice Shakeel Ahmed, gave a reserved decision today.
