RAWALPINDI: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and Rawalpindi Police successfully thwarted a massive disaster at Adiala jail and arrested three terrorists.
Rawalpindi Police has claimed that the Adiala Jail has been saved from a major disaster by the joint action of the Police and the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD).
During the joint operation, three foreign terrorists were arrested and a map of Adiala Jail, automatic weapons and a huge amount of ammunition were recovered from their custody.
City Police Officer (CPO) Rawalpindi Khalid Hamdani said that Rawalpindi Police and CTD conducted a joint operation in which three terrorists were arrested. The arrested three terrorists belong to Afghanistan, heavy weapons and ammunition have also been recovered from the possession of the terrorists.
CPO Rawalpindi said that a map of Adiala jail, hand grenades, ISDs and automatic weapons have been recovered from the terrorists.
He said that the arrested accused are being further investigated while the police and other law enforcement agencies have started a search operation around the Adiala Jail.

Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Chairman PTI Barrister Gohar Ali Khan said that everyone knows how the cases are being conducted, yet there is faith in the higher judiciary.
