KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has issued instructions to all districts to be on alert in view of the recent heavy rains forecast.
Chief Minister Sindh said that Karachi Metropolitan Corporation(KMC), all towns and water boards should complete the arrangements in their respective areas, all civic agencies should keep the storm drains and drainage system clean.
Murad Ali Shah has directed that the district administration and police should take care of the people and help them in difficult times.
Sindh Chief Minister has also directed the Provincial Disaster Management Authority(PDMA) to coordinate with all civic agencies.
Apart from this, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah also appealed to the people not to let their children go out of their homes in view of the heavy rains.
Earlier, Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif on Saturday strongly condemned the horrible incident of killing of passengers of a bus after their kidnapping on the National Highway-40 in District Noshki, Balochistan.
The prime minister expressed his deep grief and sorrow over the horrific incident and expressed sympathies with the bereaved families.
