Expect significant rainfall, accompanied by wind and thunderstorms, in Karachi, Hyderabad, and various parts of Sindh on Thursday evening and Friday, according to the Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD).

A strong westerly wave is prevailing across most of Pakistan and is expected to impact the upper regions of the country by Friday.

As a result, areas including Larkana, Qamber Shahdadkot, Dadu, and others are likely to experience rain, wind, and thunderstorms during this period.

Karachi’s temperatures are forecasted to range between 32-34 degrees Celsius on Friday and 34-36 degrees Celsius on Saturday, while Hyderabad’s temperatures are expected to be between 34-36 degrees Celsius on Friday and 36-38 degrees Celsius on Saturday.

Dry weather prevailed in most districts of Sindh over the past 24 hours, with rainfall occurring in some parts of upper Sindh. Mithi recorded the highest temperature in the province at 42 degrees Celsius, with a relative humidity of 60 percent in the morning.

In Karachi, the maximum temperature was 36 degrees Celsius, with a morning relative humidity of 78 percent, while Hyderabad recorded a maximum temperature of 38 degrees Celsius and a morning relative humidity of 60 percent.
