Imran refuses to meet Marwat at Adiala Jail

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Founder and former prime minister Imran Khan refused to meet the party leader Sher Afzal Marwat at Adiala Jail, here on Tuesday.

According to reports, Sher Afzal Marwat reached the jail’s conference room but the PTI founder declined to see Marwat whereas he was formally allowed by the jail administration to go inside the prison.

Marwat had to return without meeting Imran Khan.

However, Marwat rejected the news that PTI founder refused to meet him, adding that there was no truth in these rumours.

He claimed that six party leaders were scheduled to meet the founder and his name was not included in the list of the visitors.

His meeting with the Imran Khan has been scheduled for tomorrow, he said and added he was going to meet him on Wednesday.
