
Six newborns die within 10 hours due to negligence of staff at DHQ Teaching Hospital in Sargodha.
Heat and negligence of staff at DHQ Teaching Hospital’s Children’s Ward, Sargodha, killed six newborns in ten hours, according to the relatives of the deceased children.
The ward was filled with heat and suffocation that caused the death of newborns.
The deceased children were brought to the Children’s ward of DHQ Hospital, during the last ten hours.
Regarding child deaths, MSDHQ Hospital Ghulam Shabir says only six children died in the nursery ward.
The children, who were born prematurely and were taken to the hospital in critical condition.
The hospital staff tried to rescue them.
A special committee was formed to investigate the deaths of the children.
