Imam Hussain’s sacrifice teaches resistance to oppression: Bilawal Bhutto

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid homage to the martyrs of Karbala and said that the enduring lesson of the great sacrifice of Imam Hussain and his associates teaches us that we should resist oppression and falsehood, even if we lose our lives.

On the occasion of Youm-e-Ashur, PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that the life of the Imam Hussain’s is a symbol of hope who taught us to resist despotism and falsehood.

Bilawal Bhutto said that Imam Hussein is one of the few great personalities who redefined life and death, victory and defeat and honor and dishonor.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also said that the ongoing wave of repression in occupied Kashmir and the atrocities in rest of the world, including Palestine, has increased the importance and significance of Youm-e-Ashur.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that by following the foot step of Imam Hussain, oppressed people will be successful against injustice and tyranny.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari also said that lies and repression are tactics of militants and extremists who combine misconceptions with religion, people should be aware of such prejudices and fanatic ambitions.

He said that whenever oppression raises its head in any form, it must always be eradicated by the fervent and courage of Imam Hussain Raza.

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari further said “today we also salute all the other martyrs of Karbala, May Allah be pleased with them.”
