Pakistan’s Representative to the United Nations, Maleeha Lodhi has urged United Nations Security Council (UNSC) to must act by demanding India to lift the curfew and end the communication blackout in Occupied Kashmir.

According to details, Speaking in UN General Assembly in the debate on the report of the Security Council, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations Dr. Maleeha Lodhi pointed out that human right violations have paced up after August 15.

She pointed out that when the Security Council fails to implement its own resolutions, the price is paid, in blood, by generations of innocent people.

She also urged to allow people to exercise all their rights, release all those detained and halt human rights violations including use of pellet guns against unarmed demonstrators.

On the other hand, 33 year old havaldar Nasir Hussain has been martyred in Indian ceasefire violations across Line of Control at Haji Pir Sector today.

According to ISPR, martyed halavdar Nasir belongs to Narowal dictrict.

Havaldar Nasir Hussain was serving Pakistan army since 16 years, ISPR stated.
