Patrolling police officials allegedly gang-raped a girl

Kiran had come to Ratta Taba in Vehari with her sister Erum to meet her Fiancée. According to details, Kiran was the resident of Chishtian, a Tehsil located in Bahawalpur district.

Kiran was having a meal with her sister and her Fiancée Muhammad Shoaib when patrolling police officials of Ratta Taba caught them.

The police officials left Erum and Shoaib. However, they took Kiran with them in the vehicle.

Patrolling police officers named Asim Ghaffar, Muhammad Yaqoob, Irfan Javed and Altaf took Kiran to an unknown place and allegedly raped her.

The victim went to the police station in Laddan where RPO Multan Waseem Ahmed took notice of this tragic incident.

DPO Vehari Akhter Farooq arrived at Laddan police station as per the instructions of Waseem Ahmed.

According to DPO Akhter Farooq, the case has been registered against the three police officers as per the request of Kiran. However, the alleged police officer had fled away after the incident.

A team has been formed under the leadership of DSP to arrest the police officers.

DPO Akhter Farooq has mentioned that police officers involved in this case will soon be arrested.
