COAS calls on Deputy Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia

Cheif Of Army Staff General Qamar Bajwah met with the Deputy Defense Minister of Saudi Arabia.
According to Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Deputy Ministeer of Saudi Arabia Muhammad bin Abdullah al Ayesh had a meeting with COAS at General Headquarter (GHQ), Rawalpindi.

Sources said, Saudi Arabia’s Assistance Minister of Defense had called on Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters.

The military’s media wing had said that during the meeting views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest including defense and security cooperation between both the countries.

Both the officials discussed the bilateral issues.
They also talk about the cooperation in defense and security.
ISPR also stated, the meeting also discussed the overall security situation in the region.

Earlier, Saudi Arabia’s military commander  called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters (GHQ).

According to the military’s media wing, matters of mutual interest, regional security, bilateral relations, matters of professional interest and other issues were came under discussion in the meeting.

Speaking on the occasion, COAS Bajwa reaffirmed Pakistan Army’s cooperation in training and capacity building of Royal Saudi Army.

During the meeting, the Saudi military commander hailed profession expertise of Pakistan Army and its role in war against terrorism, said ISPR.

On the other hand before this all Major General Talal Abdullah Al-Otaibi, the military adviser to Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Defense, called on COAS at GHQ.

According to ISPR, the two discussed matters of mutual interest, regional security and measures to further enhance bilateral defense collaboration.

According to the details, a training exchange program was also discussed during the meeting.
