Both the National Accountability Bureau and the Ministry of Interior could not arrive at a decision regarding the removal Nawaz’s name from the ECL.
Later last week, the plea was submitted to the government seeking removal from the ECL by the Sharif family for Nawaz Sharif’s treatment in abroad.
The doctors at the Sharif Medical City Hospital had also recommended shifting the erstwhile premier abroad for treatment.
