Maryam Nawaz filed a request to remove her name from ECL.

Vice President of Pakistan Muslim League N (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz has filed another request to remove her name from Exit Control List (ECL).

According to details, Maryam Nawaz has filed another request in Lahore High Court to remove her name from ECL.
Maryam Nawaz has mentioned Federal government, interior ministries, chairman NAB, DG NAB, and others in her request.

Her name was included in ECL without notifying, according to the statement given by Maryam Nawaz.
She says that the memorandum of including the name in ECL is the violation of fundamental rights.

Maryam Nawaz has requested the court to order the Federal government concerning the removal of her name from ECL.

She has also entreated the court to declare the inclusion of her name in ECL as illegal and unconstitutional.

Maryam Nawaz has also requested to allow her to go abroad once for 6 weeks till the final decision will be taken.

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) had challenged the Lahore High Court’s decision for granting bail to Maryam Nawaz in the Supreme Court of Pakistan.

As per the details, Lahore High Court had granted bail to Maryam Nawaz in Chaudhary Sugar Mills Case, on 4th November 2019, which was reserved on 31st October

NAB in its plea, had maintained that the decision of Lahore High Court was given against Supreme Court’s verdict. 

Maryam Nawaz had become the largest shareholder with a 47% share of Chaudhary Sugar Mill in 2008.
