Fawad Chaudhry mocks Punjab government

Federal Minister of Science and Technology Fawad Chaudhry said that ministers consider themselves as kings, which is against people’s interest.

Fawad Chaudhry mocked Punjab government by posting a tweet through his official twitter account.

He also mentioned in his tweet that the issue is not about Punjab Government, the issue is about the distribution of resources.

مسئلہ پنجاب حکومت کا نہیں وسائل کی تقسیم کا ہے، وزرائے اعلیٰ کےپاس صوابدیدی فنڈ آرٹیکل 140-A کی خلاف ورزی ہے جیسے فارمولے کے تحت فنڈز وفاق صوبوں میں تقسیم کرتا ہے اسی طرح صوبائ سطح پر اضلاع میں فنڈز تقسیم ہونے چاہئیں۔ وزرائے اعلیٰ خود کو بادشاہ سمجھتے ہیں یہ عوامی مفاد کیخلاف ہے

Apart from that, he also said that provincial ministers violate fund article A-140.

Furthermore, he also suggested that funds should be distributed in the districts at the provincial level through the same formula that the federal government uses to distribute them to provinces.

Note that Fawad Chaudhry has criticized the Punjab government in PTI’s core committee meeting. He has said that Punjab is also not giving provincial finance award to the districts.

He also said that Punjab is finding it difficult to deliver, PTI is facing pressure. Only 88 million have been released out of 350 million from Punjab’s development budget.

Note that Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered to release the provincial finance commission award and transfer it to the districts.

Note that Fawad has also said that the center has to face criticism because of Punjab Government. PTI is doing a good job but it has to face criticism because of Punjab government’s performance.
