Sources said that Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan is expected to visit Peshawar today on a day long visit amid the deadly coronavirus outbreak
Sources added that Prime Minister Imran Khan will visit the Hayatabad Medical Complex.
Prime Minister Imran Khan will be briefed about the steps taken to curb the spread and to control the deadly coronavirus also known as COVID 19 in Peshawar.
Imran Khan will also be briefed about the steps taken by HMC to treat the coronavirus patients.
Moreover sources also added that, Imran Khan to get update about the initiatives taken by the provincial government through Ehsas Program.
Imran Khan will also overview the situation of quarantine centres in Peshawar.
Earlier Prime Minister Imran Khan said on Thursday The government is making every step to ensure safety of health workers by providing required protective gear to treat coronavirus patients.
While addressing media in Quetta, Imran Khan said luckily there is no coronavirus patient in Intensive Care Unit in Balochistan.
Imran Khan said health workers are bearing the most pressure under the current circumstances.
We are Ensuring the delivery of protective equipment for doctors and paramedics, said PM. Imran Khan said We cannot fight alone against Coronavirus. Provincial and federal governments are in contact to counter the dread virus.

Each Province will have to prepare for the situation. Pressure on hospitals will increase by the end of April.
