Violations of ceasefire by the Indian Army on the Line of Control (LoC) continue.

At least three civilians injured as Indian Army troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation using mortars and automatics in Nikial Sector along LOC. Pakistan Army’s media wing Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Wednesday that Indian Army troops initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation using mortars and automatics in Nikial Sector along LOC deliberately targeting civilian population.

ISPR said that due to indiscriminate fire in Khanni and Ooli villages, three innocent civilians received critical injuries. Moreover ISPR added that all injured evacuated and being provided with medical care.

Earlier on 18th May According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Indian forces violated the ceasefire on the LoC and targeted the civilian population in the Khoi Ratta sector.

The ISPR spokesperson further said that a civilian was seriously injured in the unprovoked firing of Indian forces on the LOC in Jajut village and the injured have been shifted to a nearby medical center for the treatment.

It may be recalled that Indian forces had violated the ceasefire on the LoC by firing indiscriminately on Lepa Valley and Kayani Sector, killing Imtiaz Ali, a youth from Pabi village in Nowshera district. A woman was seriously injured in an unprovoked firing by the Indian army in Chari Kot sector of the Line of Control.
