Pakistan will reopen Kartarpur Corridor from Monday (today) on the occasion of the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh.
The Kartarpur corridor is being reopened after about three and a half months. Pakistani authorities have made all arrangements for the opening of Kartarpur.
The anniversary of Sikh Maharaja Ranjeet Singh will be celebrated at Kartarpur Gurdwara.
The main prayer ceremony for the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh will take place at 12.30 pm.
Earlier Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi tweeted: “As places of worship open up across the world, Pakistan prepares to reopen the Kartarpur Sahib Corridor for all Sikh pilgrims, conveying to the Indian side our readiness to reopen the corridor on 29 June 2020, the occasion of the death anniversary of Maharaja Ranjeet Singh.”

Furthermore Pakistan Foreign Office spokesperson Ayesha Farooqi also said that India has been informed to reopen the Kartarpur corridor.
