‘PPP has no fear of lawsuits’
Former President Asif Ali Zardari on Tuesday telephoned Pakistan Peoples Party Punjab President Qamar Zaman Kaira and General Secretary Chaudhry Manzoor Ahmed۔
Asif Ali Zardari discussed in detail the latest situation and party affairs with the Punjab leadership.
While discussing the party affairs, former president said that workers should be united, soon a good time awaits us. There is no fear of lawsuits, we will still compete in the courts, said Asif Zardari.
He said that In the current situation, if the government does nothing for the people, a terrible situation could arise. Former president recalled that the Pakistan Peoples Party supported farmers and workers in the 2008 global crisis. At that time, the country’s economy returned with support programs for farmers and workers.
Asif Zardari said that Unfortunately, instead of strengthening the provinces, the federal government is weakening them. The people in the federation do not have a political understanding, they deepen every crisis. I warned about the locusts a year ago but the ruling party didn’t understand. Despite two floods, we did not allow food shortages, today there is a danger of severe food shortages. The damage done to the farmer and the country by the locust will not be completed for many years۔
Furthermore he said the present rulers do not follow the constitution, nor the rules, nor the civilization. They want to destroy everything.
Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) is still ready to play its role in solving the problems of Balochistan, added the former president Asif Ali Zardari.
