Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi has called on Azad Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan in Muzaffarabad.
During the meeting, the situation in Occupied Kashmir and the steps taken on August 5 were discussed.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi in a meeting with Azad Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan said that he visited today to express solidarity with the oppressed Kashmiris.
The Foreign Minister said that today all the political leadership of Pakistan, all the political parties, the Armed Forces and the children of Pakistan stand with their Kashmiri brothers.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi also said that we want to assure our Kashmiri brothers that you are going through painful stages but you are not alone.
Foreign Minister Makhdoom Shah Mehmood Qureshi further said that Pakistan will continue to raise its voice in favor of Kashmiris’ struggle for self-determination in every forum of the world.
Shah Mehmood Qureshi’s meeting with Azad Kashmir President Sardar Masood Khan was also attended by Azad Kashmir Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan and Special Assistant for National Security Moeed Yousaf.
Earlier, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi accompanied by Defense Minister Pervez Khattak and Special Assistant for National Security Moeed Yousuf visited the Line of Control (LoC).
During his visit to the LoC, military officials briefed Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi on the latest situation in the LOC.
On the occasion, the Foreign Minister paid homage to the greatness, courage and spirit of the Pakistan Army personnel stationed at the LOC and said that the nation was proud of the bravery of them.
