The Sindh government has decided to maintain the ban on pillion riding.

According to details, the Sindh Chief Minister’s spokesman said in a statement that the ban on pillion riding would remain in force due to Muharram.

The Sindh Chief Minister’s Spokesperson further said that after Muharram, a review of security would be taken and a decision would be taken to open pillion riding.

Earlier, the Sindh government had relaxed the ban on pillion riding and lifted the ban on pillion riding for children, the elderly and women.

On the other hand, law enforcement agencies, journalists and other staff will not be exempt.

The Sindh Home Department issued a notification in this regard.

It should be noted that the lockdown had been going on by the Sindh government for the last several months. After the continuous violation of lockdown by the people, the Sindh government had also banned pillion riding of motorcycles.
