Imran Khan is using NAB for political revenge says Marriyum Aurangzeb

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb said on Friday that Prime Minister Imran Khan is using National Accountability Bureau (NAB) for political revenge.

According to the details, Marriyum Aurangzeb was addressing media in Lahore.

She said Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) is making preparations to arrest Shahbaz Sharif due to the Gilgit-Baltistan elections.

She said that what a government without the mandate will do to alleviate the suffering of the people?

Maryam Aurangzeb said that the opponents want to arrest Shahbaz Sharif and Imran Khan is using NAB for revenge. The PML-N spokesperson said that the petition filed against Shahbaz Sharif was also forged. There is no allegation of corruption against Shahbaz Sharif in the reference consisting of 58 volumes.

She said Imran Khan has filed a petition in NAB against Shahbaz Sharif. It may be recalled that Shahbaz Sharif has been granted bail by the Lahore High Court in a money laundering and assets case till September 28. The National Accountability Bureau has opposed bail. A two-member bench of the Lahore High Court headed by Justice Sardar Ahmed Naeem heard Shahbaz Sharif’s bail plea.

Shahbaz Sharif is of the view that the NAB has completed its investigation and the purpose of the arrest is nothing more than to satisfy one’s ego.
