PML-N Leader Captain (R) Safdar Granted Bail

Capt (retd) Muhammad Safdar, the PML-N leader arrested on charges of violating the sanctity of Quaid’s mausoleum, has been granted bail.

He was produced before court after he was arrested by police for violating the sanctity of Mazar-e-Quaid.

PML-N lawyers prepared papers stating that the case against Capt (R) Safdar is based on malice.

It may be recalled that Captain (R) Safdar was arrested in the case of violating the sanctity of Mazar-e-Quaid. Captain (R) Safdar was arrested from a private hotel.  PML-N leader Capt. Safdar addressed the supporters in Quaid-e-Azam’s mausoleum with his shoes on.

On the other hand, Maryam Nawaz is consulting with the former prime minister Shahid Khaqan, and other PML-N leaders including Muhammad Zubair, Muftah Ismail to get Captain (R) Safdar granted bail or face the situation.
