Chairman NAB Calls On Delegation of Pakistan Flour Mills Association

Chairman National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal has said that the business community has an important role to play in the economic development of the country.

According to details, a delegation of Pakistan Flour Mills Association has called on Chairman NAB Justice R Javed Iqbal.

On the occasion, Chairman NAB Justice R Javed Iqbal said that all the tax cases of the business community were sent to the FBR while the owners of flour mills were barred from proceeding on the notices issued by NAB Multan.

Javed Iqbal also said that the matter is in the court while Anti-Corruption Punjab is also investigating and the impression is not correct that the business community is disturbed by the NAB measures while 2% cases of the business community are not even in the 1210 references pending in the courts.

Chairman NAB Justice (Retd) Javed Iqbal further said that open courts should be set up for timely hearing of the grievances while the business community has an important role to play in the economic development of the country and NAB is fulfilling its national responsibility as per law.
