Pakistan Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has written a letter to the United Nations Security Council (UNSC) president and secretary-general on the grim situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK)

According to the details, Shah Mahmood Qureshi in his letter violations of human rights taking place in the occupied valley along with the threat posed to peace and security by India.

He wrote in the letter, “It focuses, in particular, on the illegal demographic changes being undertaken in the occupied territory by India, in violation of UN Security Council resolutions, the UN Charter and international law including the 4th Geneva Convention.”

The Foreign Minister apprised UNSC of India’s implementation of an elaborate strategy of military occupation, land confiscation, the influx of non-Kashmiris, and the creation of alien settlements in IIOJK.

“As a result of the Indian agenda to convert the Muslim majority of IIOJK into a minority, the indigenous Kashmiris are losing their political and cultural identity, their rightful demographic majority, and ownership of their properties in their own homeland.”

Shah Mahmood Qureshi underscored the indiscriminate and unprovoked ceasefire violations by India across the Line of Control (LoC) and the Working Boundary (WB), including the deliberate targeting of civilian populated areas.

Earlier the Spokesperson of the Foreign Office, Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry said that Pakistan will continue to expose the evil face of India to the international community.

He urged the global community to act on the Dossier presented by Pakistan with incontrovertible evidence of Indian state-sponsorship of terrorism.

The spokesperson, while referring to the reported briefing to a group of foreign envoys at the Indian Ministry of External Affairs on the so-called attempted terrorist attack in Nagrota district in Indian Illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K), said the Modi lead fascist Government has intensified its anti-Pakistan campaign, marked by false narratives, concocted evidence, and orchestration of false flag operations.
