RSS ideology is an obstacle to peace in the region: FM Qureshi

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said that the next meeting of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Council will be held in Pakistan.

According to the details, Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the passage of a unanimous resolution on Kashmir by the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers is a triumph of Islamabad. FM Qureshi said fifty-seven member countries of the OIC are unanimously accepting Pakistan’s stance on blatant human rights violations in Indian illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir.

He said false propaganda was done before the session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers that Kashmir is not on the agenda of the moot. If that was the case then how did the OIC pass a resolution on Kashmir?

Regarding relations with the UAE, he said we enjoy excellent and strong relations with the brotherly country.

Earlier Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi in his Tweet said that OIC strongly reaffirmed their unequivocal and unanimous support for the Kashmir Cause in a Resolution adopted at its 47th session in Niamey, Niger.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi in his Tweet said: The OIC has strongly reaffirmed their unequivocal and unanimous support for the Kashmir Cause in a Resolution adopted at #OIC47CFMNiamey categorically rejected illegal actions taken by India since 5 August 2019.

In a comprehensive and strongly-worded Resolution, the OIC demanded India to cancel the issuance of domicile certificates to non-Kashmiris and revoke all unilateral and illegal actions in IIOJK, while refraining from taking any step to alter the existing demographic structure of the disputed territory.
