The Command and Staff Conference of Pakistan Navy has reviewed the security situation in the region, Pakistan Navy’s operational preparedness, development projects, and other important affairs.
Spokesperson Pakistan Navy said that the conference was chaired by Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi.
The Naval Chief was given a detailed briefing on various defense projects of the Pakistan Navy
Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi expressed confidence over combat readiness and significant contributions of the Navy in the maritime domain. He emphasized strengthening maritime security and to effectively respond to any aggression against Pakistan.
The Naval Chief lauded the initiatives undertaken towards capability development through the acquisition of emerging technologies.
Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi also directed the field commands to fully implement the government policies to curb the spread of the Coronavirus epidemic in the country.
Naval Chief expressed complete satisfaction over the operational preparedness of Pakistan Navy.
The conference reiterated that the Pakistan Navy is always ready to respond to any kind of aggression and continue relief activities in different areas.
Command and Staff Conference is the apex decision making body of Pakistan Navy in which Chief of the Naval Staff along with all Chiefs of Staff, Principal Staff Officers, and Field Commanders undertake a review of Pakistan Navy’s policies and plans.
