Governor Punjab Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar had a meeting with Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al Maliki on Saturday.
As per the details, Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar accepted the invitation of Nawaf Al-Maliki to visit Saudi Arabia.
During the meeting, various issues including relations between the two countries were discussed.
Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar termed the relations between the two countries as stronger than a rock.
What did Governor Punjab Chaudhry Sarwar say?
He said that respect for the servants of the two holy shrines is obligatory for every Muslim.
He also said that Pak-Saudi bilateral relations are deep and historic in nature.
Moreover, Governor Punjab added that the hearts of the Pakistani and Saudi people still beat together today, the ideal relations between the two countries are a source of pride for 220 million Pakistanis.
Apart from that, he said that Saudi Arabia has always stood shoulder to shoulder with Pakistan.
What did Nawaf Al-Maliki say?
During the meeting, the Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al Maliki said, “we never left Pakistan alone before and we will never leave it again”.
“We consider Pakistan as our home and play our role for its development” he added.
He continued that relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are like two brothers.
On the other hand, Saudi Ambassador has called on Minister for Inter-Provincial Coordination, Dr. Fehmida Mirza in Islamabad.
As per the details, both discussed matters related to sports, tourism, and other affairs of mutual interest.
During the meeting, Dr. Fehmida Mirza assured all-out support of Pakistan for Saudi Arabia in its drive to host Olympics 2030.
