Vice President Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) will hold rallies in Lahore as part of her mass mobilization campaign ahead of PDM Jalsa.

According to the details, Maryam Nawaz will also be holding corner meetings to muster support from the masses for the rally at Minar e Pakistan on December 13th.

Maryam Nawaz said that she will herself invite citizens to attend the PDM’s rally for Sunday (Dec 13) at Minar-e-Pakistan.

Party sources said that before leaving for her mass mobilization campaign, she will convene a meeting of the PML-N Lahore division to finalize arrangements for the PDM gathering.

Sources said that the meeting will discuss ways to arrange transport, sound system, chairs, tents, and other necessary items for the gathering.

Let it be known that Security Agencies has issued a threat alert for the opposition’s 11-party Pakistan Democratic Movement’s Sunday gathering.

Police warned that terrorists could target Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) vice president Maryam Nawaz and other top political leadership of the opposition parties during the rally.

The police have asked the PDM leadership to cancel the Lahore public gathering owing to the security alert and in case of non-cancellation, has asked the opposition’s leadership including Maryam to take precautionary measures to avoid any untoward incident.

The alliance has held several rallies in major Pakistani cities, including Gujranwala, Karachi, and then Quetta. Now, the final rally will be in Lahore on December 13.

Earlier, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that the opposition was seeking a confrontation. He warned that legal action would be taken against those violating health protocols devised to curb the COVID-19 spread.
