Indian troops initiated Ceasefire Violations in Khuiratta Sector along Line of Control on Wednesday, military media wing stated.
According to the Inter-Service Public Relations (ISPR), Pakistan Army troops responded befittingly.
Reports of heavy losses 2 Indian troops in men & material. During the exchange of fire, while fighting valiantly, 2 soldiers, Lance Naik Tariq & Sepoy Zaroof embraced martyrdom yesterday.
However, to pay heartfelt condolences over the loss of Lance Naik Tariq & Sepoy Zaroof, President Dr Arif Alvi called their families to express his deep grief.
Families are courageous and they thank Allah for this honor, said President Alvi in his tweet.

On Wednesday night, the Pakistan Army media wing informed that two soldiers, Lance Naik Tariq & Sepoy Zaroof embraced shahadat after Indian troops initiated Ceasefire Violations in Khuiratta Sector along the Line of Control (LoC).

Earlier on November 13, Indian Army troops had resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violations in Rakhchikri and Khanjar Sectors of Kashmir along the restive Line of Control (LoC) targeting the civilian population.
Indian troops had targeted the civil population with rockets and mortars in Tari Band and Samahni villages.
“Pakistan Army troops responded effectively to Indian firing,” the ISPR said.
ISPR had said in a statement that one citizen embraced martyrdom, three civilians including two women had received injuries.
