Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar on Friday said that the Sensitive Price Index (SPI) recorded another decrease of 0.23 percent this week.
According to the details, he took to his Twitter handle and informed that sugar price reduced sharply by 7.5 percent this week after a decline of nearly 5 percent last week.
In addition to this, he said that the reduction in the inflation rate has been sustained now for the past several weeks with SPI consistently in single digits.

Earlier today Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Dr. Shahbaz Gill in his tweet said that in November 2020, exports of the textile sector increased by 20% and exports of pharmaceuticals also increased by 20%.
The Special Assistant added that in one-month surgical items and women’s garments witnessed an 11 percent increase in exports as compared to the previous year.
