Earlier, talks between the government and the Hazara community succeeded and the Hazara community decided to bury the victims Massacred in Machh.
Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal had arrived at a sit-in protest of the Hazara community, where he brieged the participants on the progress of the Prime Minister’s visit. The Prime Minister had directed the negotiating team to convince the family members of the victims and the protesters while help was also sought from eminent scholars.
According to sources, Prime Minister Imran Khan is on his way to Quetta and will meet the victims’ families after the burial.
Prime Minister PM Imran Khan on Friday had vowed to visit the families of slain coal miners of Machh, to express solidarity with them after they bury their loved ones.
According to the details, Imran Khan while addressing the inauguration ceremony of Technology Park in Islamabad, said “If the bereaved families bury the slain miners today, I will go to Quetta today.”
He said all of their demands had been met as of Thursday but the Hazara mourners were insisting on his visit to Quetta as a condition for the burial of the victims, which, he said, is uncalled for.
“One of their demands is that they will bury the dead after the prime minister comes [to Quetta],” the PM said.
