Prime Minister Imran Khan visited and inaugurated 100-bed shelter home in Tarnol, Islamabad.

The Prime Minister was accompanied by Sania Nishtar, MD Bait-ul-Mal Aon Abbas Buppi and Turkish Ambassador Ihsan Mustafa Yurdakul.

The Prime Minister was also briefed by MD Bait-ul-Mal to build 31 more model shelters.

Imran Khan spent the first evening of 2021 at the Tarnol Islamabad Shelter with the poor and deserving.

Imran Khan reviewed the arrangements at the shelter and dined with the people. The Prime Minister also chatted with them about their daily routines.

Breakfast and dinner will also be provided at the shelter. The shelter also has 10 separate beds exclusively for women.

Since the establishment of Tarnol Shelter, the total number of shelters in Islamabad has increased to five.

The Prime Minister also visited the TeleHealth Kiosk which was established in collaboration with EZ Shifa in the shelter, where he was informed that the doctors present here to provide free medical check-ups to patients under the supervision of more than 500 doctors.

On the occasion, the Prime Minister said, “We are coming up with a plan in 2021 under the Ehsas program that no Pakistani will sleep on an empty stomach.”
