ISPR: 4 Soldiers martyred in terrorist ‘fire raid’ on post in South Waziristan
Four soldiers were martyred in a gun attack on a security forces post in Makeen, South Waziristan late last night, said Pakistan Military media wing Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Friday.
According to the ISPR statement, the “terrorist fire raid” targeted a security post located in Makeen, South Waziristan.
‘During an intense exchange of fire, four brave soldiers embraced shahadat while repulsing raiding terrorists.’ ISPR said.
ISPR also added that Pakistani troops killed 4 terrorists. A large scale search and clearance operation was in progress in the area.
Those Martyred include:-
- Lance Naik Imran Ali
- Sepoy Atif Jahangir
- Sepoy Anees ur Rehman
- Sepoy Aziz
Back on December 27th, the Terrorist fire raid on Frontier Corps Balochistan post in Sharig , Harnai, Balochistan martyred seven brave soldiers.
In a press release, the spokesperson of ISPR said, such cowardly acts by inimical elements backed by anti state forces will not be allowed to sabotage hard earned peace and prosperity in Balochistan.
Security forces are determined to thwart their nefarious designs at all costs, said the spokesperson.
