The Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA) on Thursday released Special Song to express solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
Titled as ‘Nigaroo’ the song has been presented by Youth Parliament and is based on the pure Kashmiri language.
As reported, this song was written in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) while it was sung by a young man from Azad Kashmir Zohaib Zaman.
The song is based on the pure Kashmiri language, which was learned and re-read by Zohaib Zaman, an executive member of the Youth Parliament, who has performed various other cultural songs in the past. Kashmiris played important role in writing, composing, singing and presentation of the song NIGAROO.
According to a media report, the vision of this song is to better represent the culture so that the world becomes more aware of the lives of those living along the Line of Control and the problems faced by the divided families
On the other hand, the Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi has said in his statement that Pakistan has effectively raised its voice against gross human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir at global level.
