The National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) said Monday that no critical case related to the novel coronavirus reported in the last 24 hours.
As per latest data, the total number of critical case related to COVID-19 persisted to 1,828. Whereas COVID-19 has claimed 59 more lives and 1,037 fresh infections were reported in a single day.
In the past 24 hours, as many as 1,260 patients have recovered from the virus in a day and 1,828 patients are still in critical condition.
The total count of active cases is 31,983 and positivity rate stands at 3.22 per cent.
NCOC said that with fresh inclusion of the infections in the country the national tally of cases now currently stands at 555,511.
A total of 32,149 tests were conducted across the country during this period. Overall 511,502 people have recovered from the deadly disease so far while 8,224,869 samples have been tested thus far.
According to a media report, Pakistan will get second consignment of the Sinopharm coronavirus vaccine on Monday (today).
As reported, about half a million doses of the vaccine will be brought to Pakistan via a special flight of the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) Air Force.
On the other hand, a vehicle that was coming back from Nawabshah after delivering Covid-19 vaccine doses to the city’s vaccination center met with an accident on Mehran Highway. Five health workers, who were in the vehicle suffered serious injuries in a road accident. They were shifted to a nearby hospital for first aid, according to police.
