Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has on Monday (today) said that extensive training ensures effective response against all challenges.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the Army Chief has paid a visit to Lahore Corps and interacted with the Army troops.
He witnessed small arms firing and was summarized about the operational mobility of the formation.
ISPR said, the COAS further urged the troops to keep informed with changing nature of the threat to meet any kind of challenges.
He also praised troops for their professionalism and high training standards, ISPR added.
Gen. Qamar Javed Bajwa, during his visit, was accompanied by Corps Commander Lieutenant General Muhammad Abdul Aziz.
Earlier, General Qamar Javed Bajwa held one-on-one meetings with Field Marshal Mohammed Bin Isa Al Khalifa, Commander Bahrain Nation Guard and His Highness Major General Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Bahrain National Security Advisor during his visit to Bahrain on March 9, 2021.
During the meetings, issues of mutual interest and regional security situation had come under discussion.
COAS had offered Pakistan’s complete support in achieving shared interests in bilateral security cooperation including training and capacity building.
