Special Assistant to Chief Minister Punjab for Information Firdous Ashiq Awan has said on Sunday that the government will provide opportunities to women to express their talents.
While addressing the media in Sialkot, Firdous Ashiq Awan said that a strategy is being formulated on International Women’s Day under the leadership of the Prime Minister in view of a new environment, new circumstances.
Awan further said that the government has taken steps to enforce women-friendly laws while Usman Buzdar has also taken steps to empower women under the Women Empowerment Act.
“Our woman is the protector of social and cultural values while Iqbal’s ideology nurtures generations up to mother’s lap and self-sufficiency,” said Firdous Ashiq Awan.
The Special Assistant to the Chief Minister Punjab for Information said that the Prime Minister of Pakistan wants to ensure the provision of women’s rights while guaranteeing the provision of constitutional and legal rights of women, which will provide opportunities to women to express their capabilities.
Talking about the gas crisis in the rural areas, Awan said,
“Supply of gas in rural areas is the first priority, gas facilities improve the lives of women.”
Earlier, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan on Thursday (4th March) said that Prime Minister Imran Khan took an undaunted decision to seek the vote of confidence from the National Assembly.
According to the details, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan took to Twitter and said that despite the fact that ruling Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) emerged as the largest party in the Senate, Prime Minister Imran Khan has challenged the opposition by taking a bold decision of seeking the vote of confidence in the Parliament House.
