ISLAMABAD: President Arif Alvi and Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday, in their separate messages on the occasion of Eid Milad-un-Nabi, paid tributes to Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) for laying the foundation of Riasat-e-Madina that rose before the world as an example in terms of humanity, justice, and rule of law.
Muslims across the world and Pakistan are celebrating Eid Milad-un-Nabi today (October 19).
The president, in this message, said that Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) united the humans for the oneness of Allah, and it is his character that made the worst enemies as each others’ well-wishers, said Radio Pakistan.
Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) established a welfare state where the rich and poor enjoyed equal rights, added the president.
President Alvi also lauded the efforts of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in turning Pakistan into a model welfare state on the patterns of Riasat-e-Madina.
Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) brought a revolution: PM
PM Khan, in his message, said that the arrival of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) in the world brought a revolution in every aspect of human society.
“Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) life has made the Arab tribes a nation who were victims of internal chaos for centuries,” said PM.
“In the state of Madina, minorities were protected, poor and needy were taken care of, and rights and obligations of the state, and citizens were determined.”
The premier said that the PTI government also created Rahmatul-Lil-Aalameen Authority to inform the people and the world about the life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The authority, PM Khan added, would provide direction to the youth, enabling them to learn more about the life of the last Prophet. It would also make the world familiar with the Islamic revolution, said PM.
Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry and Planning and Development Minister Asad Umar also sent their messages on the occasion of Eid Milad-Un-Nabi.
