LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N)’s rally scheduled to be held in Okara on Monday (today) has been postponed because of bad weather condition.
After consultation with the party organization and local leadership, PML-N Member of National Assembly (MNA) Riaz ul Haq announced that the public meeting which was scheduled to be held today has been debarred because of storm and torrential rain.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz among others had to address the public gathering.

On May 14, following the police crackdown on PTI activists in Sialkot, the former information minister Fawad Chaudhry had accused the PML-N of using the religion card again and dividing people.
The PTI leadership had reached Sialkot ahead of the political party’s public gathering.
Unlike previous PTI rallies, the preparations in Sialkot didn’t go smoothly as the administration had launched a crackdown on the PTI activists present in the CTI Ground.
