SWAT: Armed men ambushed a school van in the beautiful valley of Swat on Monday, killing the driver and injuring four school children, BOL news reported.

According to authorities, terrorists opened fire on a school van in Swat’s Char Bagh, killing the driver and injuring four children.

The terrorists, according to authorities, were aiming for the driver of the school van, who was slain, and 10-11 children were inside the van at the time of the incident.

The police also stated that the attack injured four youngsters, who were riding in the front seat with the driver and are not at any kind of risk.

When the incident was reported, two youngsters were said to have been hurt. The other child, who was injured, had fallen unconscious following the gunshot after seeing blood on the crime scene.

According to the police, a search operation is underway in the region.

Following the incident, the van driver’s relatives and school teachers mounted a demonstration, requesting that efforts be taken to restore peace in the region. They urged the government to bring the perpetrators of the act to justice. “In Swat, we will not accept terror incidents,” they warned.
